illnesses and past surgeries for example, when choosing a class. Please communicate
openly with your instructor to ensure an appropriate fit and
modifications. Know that your body
is you best teacher.
Why is Yoga Important?
Our body communicates with us constantly through example
when we have an injury, pain allows us to know that we have damaged our bodies,
signally us to take steps to pause and heal. During a competition or sports
events, for example, our body releases endorphins to dull or illuminate the
pain temporality masking the sensation s our bodies would naturally
present. Unfortunately, our day to day lives may function
physically and emotionally in a similar pattern; life as competition. Our bodies adjust and
compensate until illness and injuries persist.
As humans we are capable, of training ourselves in a positive,
forward moving manner. Through a routine yoga and mediation practice we can
grow beyond cycles of unhealthy conditioning to a create a enlightening way of
being.
